A tight technical sans. Each role sits on one row, with skills in an aligned column. Switching layouts never changes the words.

A preview only. Nothing is saved.

Nursing assistant resumes get passed over when they say 'caring and compassionate' and stop. A screener needs the certificate and registry status, the setting, how many residents or patients you cover and whether you can transfer, chart and report changes safely. The example above puts those in plain view, and the score on this page is the real engine output.

Why each choice was made

  1. Why the registry is in two places

Employers must verify the certificate before the first shift. It is in the summary and again under Certifications with the issuing state, so a search for 'CNA' or 'nurse aide registry' finds it.

  2. Why falls and pressure injuries are counted

Every nursing assistant gives personal care. The bullets show what that care prevented, which is what a director of nursing reports on each month.

  3. Why scope stays with the aide

The template reports vital signs and changes to the nurse and follows care plans. It never claims assessments, medication administration or care planning, which belong to licensed nurses.

Nursing assistant resume questions

What skills should I put on a nursing assistant resume?

The skills the job posting names, spelled the way it spells them. For a nursing assistant that often includes CNA, state nurse aide registry, activities of daily living, ADLs, vital signs and intake and output. Show each one in a bullet with a result, then list the core ones again in a short skills section.

How do I write a nursing assistant resume summary?

Keep it to two or three sentences: your years of experience and where, the scale of your work, and one result with a number. Leave out words a recruiter cannot check, like hardworking or passionate. The example summary on this page shows the pattern.
