A prompt such as “Check my resume against this job post” goes from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini or another assistant to ATSPrep, which checks the resume and answers.

Set it up once, use it in every chat.

  1. Pick your assistant

ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Lovable or Grok.

  2. Add one URL

A single terminal command, or a few clicks in the app's settings. The exact steps for each are below.

  3. Ask, with no sign-in

There is no account to make and no key to paste. Share your resume in the chat and ask away.

Things to ask once it's connected

Five tools, all read-only.

Each one reads what you send and returns a result with a link back to ATSPrep. None of them can change or save anything.

check_resumeCheck a resume
Scores pasted resume text with the same rules as the ATS checker, and lists each issue with its fix.
match_jobMatch a job post
Compares the resume with a job description: matched and missing keywords, and how much of the post it covers.
check_bulletsCheck bullet points
Feedback on each bullet: weak openings, missing numbers, filler, length, and stronger verbs to try.
open_in_studioOpen in Studio
A link that opens the resume in ATSPrep Studio. The text rides in the link's # fragment, which browsers never send to a server.
list_templatesList templates
The resume designs and role templates, each with a link to start from it.

No sign-in. Nothing stored.

  • No account

The server doesn't know who you are. There is nothing to sign in to and no key to keep safe.

  • Nothing kept

Each request is checked and forgotten. Logs record which tool ran and how long it took, never the resume.

  • Fixed rules

Scores come from the same checks as atsprep.com, not a language model, so the same resume gets the same result.

  • Links that stay with you

Open in Studio puts the resume after the # in the link. Browsers never send that part to a server.

Your assistant still sees what you paste into it, under its own privacy terms. Read how ATSPrep handles data and how scoring works.

Rather work on the page? Studio does it all in the browser.

Import your PDF or DOCX, see what a parser reads, and fix each flagged line with the score updating as you type.
