Scored by the same rules the Studio uses. How scoring works
Why it works
- One page in all six layouts265 words, so switching designs never pushes it to a second page.
- 3 of 9 bullets name a resultThe rest show the scale of the work, which a recruiter reads as proof too. Counted by the same Review the Studio runs.
- Headings an ATS already knowsSummary, Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills, in that order.
- The credential has its own lineCounterbalance and Reach Truck Licence, each with issuer and year.
- Reads back as plain textOne column with no tables or icons. The ATS text tab shows what a parser gets.
Warehouse associate with six years in retail and parcel distribution centres. Licensed on counterbalance and reach trucks, with picking, goods-in, cycle counts and dispatch on RF scanners and SAP.
- Achieve about 160 picked lines an hour against a site target of 140, with a mispick rate of 0.4% over the last 12 months.
- Drive a reach truck for put-away and replenishment to racking up to 10 metres, with no reportable incidents in three years.
- Run weekly cycle counts in SAP for two aisles, raising location accuracy from 94% to 98% after relabelling 400 bin locations.
- Train about 15 seasonal starters each winter on RF scanners, manual handling and PPE rules.
- Unloaded and checked about 12 trailers a shift against delivery notes and goods received notes.
- Flagged short and damaged deliveries on the WMS the same day, cutting supplier credit disputes by about a quarter.
- Loaded outbound trailers by route order and signed dispatch notes with drivers.
- Picked and packed chilled orders for 40 stores a night, following FIFO and temperature checks.
- Kept the packing area to 5S standards and passed each monthly health and safety audit.

Warehouse resumes are screened on rates, accuracy and the kit you are licensed to drive. A recruiter wants picks or units an hour, pick accuracy, the forklift or reach truck licence you hold, the WMS or scanner you used, and safe, reliable shifts. This example names each one with the numbers a shift manager reads.

Why most warehouse associates don't get the call
Rate and accuracy together
Picks, lines or units an hour against the site target, alongside pick accuracy or mispick rate. Fast with errors costs the site more than steady and right.
Licences and equipment
Counterbalance, reach truck, VNA or order picker licences (RTITB, OSHA forklift certification or a local equivalent) and pallet trucks. Say which and how current.
Goods-in, stock and dispatch
Receiving against purchase orders or GRNs, put-away, cycle counts, replenishment, loading bays and dispatch notes show which parts of the warehouse you can run.
Systems and safety
RF scanners, a WMS such as SAP EWM or Manhattan, and a clean safety record with manual handling and PPE are what keep a site running and insured.
Skills and keywords for a warehouse associate resume
Applicant tracking systems match on literal strings. Spell each term the way the job posting spells it, and group related skills so people and parsers can both follow it.

Why each choice was made
Why rate and accuracy share a bullet
A pick rate on its own invites the question of how many were wrong. Putting the accuracy beside it answers that before the interview.
Why the licence is in its own section
Many warehouse searches filter on forklift licence first. A Certifications section with the truck types and issuer lets a reader and a search tool find it at once.
Why this is not an operations manager resume
The bullets are about the person's own picks, counts and loads, not budgets or a team's KPIs. Supervisors moving up should use the operations manager template.
Warehouse associate resume questions
What skills should I put on a warehouse associate resume?
The skills the job posting names, spelled the way it spells them. For a warehouse associate that often includes order picking, packing, forklift licence, counterbalance, stock control and cycle counts. Show each one in a bullet with a result, then list the core ones again in a short skills section.
How do I write a warehouse associate resume summary?
Keep it to two or three sentences: your years of experience and where, the scale of your work, and one result with a number. Leave out words a recruiter cannot check, like hardworking or passionate. The example summary on this page shows the pattern.
Is this warehouse associate resume template free?
Yes. Open it in the Studio, replace the example with your own work and download it as a PDF in a free design (Clean, Signal, Editorial and Minimal). Word files and the other designs come with ATSPrep Pro. There is no watermark; downloading needs a free account.
Is this warehouse associate resume template ATS friendly?
Yes. It is one column of real text with standard section headings, and no tables, text boxes or text inside images, so parsers read it in order. Run your finished file through the free ATS resume checker to see the text it gives back.
