Why it works

  • One page in all six layouts261 words, so switching designs never pushes it to a second page.
  • 3 of 9 bullets name a resultThe rest show the scale of the work, which a recruiter reads as proof too. Counted by the same Review the Studio runs.
  • Headings an ATS already knowsSummary, Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills, in that order.
  • Credentials have their own sectionRegistered Dental Assistant (RDA), Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), each with issuer and year.
  • Reads back as plain textOne column with no tables or icons. The ATS text tab shows what a parser gets.

A preview only. Nothing is saved.

Dental assistant resumes get skipped when they say 'assisted the dentist' and leave it there. A screener checks your registration or certificate, which procedures you assist, whether you can take radiographs and run sterilization, and the practice software you know. The example above shows each with numbers, and the score on this page is the real engine output.

Why each choice was made

  1. Why the registration names the state

What a dental assistant may do changes by state and country. Naming the Texas RDA and the DANB CDA tells a practice exactly which duties are legal on day one.

  2. Why retakes and spore tests are counted

Every assistant takes x-rays and runs the autoclave. A lower retake rate and a clean spore-test log prove quality in a way the duty alone cannot.

  3. Why scheduling is in a clinical resume

Small practices need assistants who fill gaps at the front desk. Treatment plan follow-up and recall booking show you add chair time, which practice owners measure.

Dental assistant resume questions

What skills should I put on a dental assistant resume?

The skills the job posting names, spelled the way it spells them. For a dental assistant that often includes CDA, DANB, four-handed dentistry, chairside assisting, dental radiographs and bitewings. Show each one in a bullet with a result, then list the core ones again in a short skills section.

How do I write a dental assistant resume summary?

Keep it to two or three sentences: your years of experience and where, the scale of your work, and one result with a number. Leave out words a recruiter cannot check, like hardworking or passionate. The example summary on this page shows the pattern.
