Project Delivery: program management, portfolio management, stakeholder management, budget management, risk management
Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, waterfall, hybrid delivery, SAFe, stage-gate

Project manager resumes fail when they hide ownership behind coordination verbs. A screener wants to know the budget, headcount, methodology and risk the candidate actually controlled. "Coordinated" and "facilitated" often mean the process happened nearby. The template below puts ownership first, and the score on this page is real proof-engine output, not a marketing number.

What recruiters screen for

Why most project managers don't get the call

Ownership before method

Budget and headcount come before ceremony names. A reviewer needs to know whether the candidate controlled the money, team and risk, or only tracked meetings for someone else.

Methodology that was actually run

Agile, Scrum, waterfall and hybrid delivery all mean different things. Say whether the manager owned sprint planning, stage gates, change control or only sat inside the process.

Portfolio scale and stakeholder level

Project count, programme budget, executive steering committees, vendors and dependency risk show level. A senior screener looks for who could block the work and whether the manager moved them.

Certifications and tools as filters

PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe, Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and Asana are literal parser terms. "Coordinated" and "facilitated" are weak verbs because they hide ownership.

Notes on the template

Why each choice was made

Why budget appears before methodology

A project manager can be called agile at almost any level. Budget, headcount and programme size establish seniority before the resume names the delivery method.

Why weak verbs are avoided

Project resumes overuse coordinated and facilitated. The bullets below use owned, led, managed and delivered because those verbs tell a screener where accountability sat.

Why tools are tied to control points

Jira, Smartsheet and Microsoft Project are not listed as decoration. They appear where they controlled risk, milestones, budget or executive decisions.
