Status: not on sale yet. This is a waitlist and price test, not a product for sale. The current Studio remains free. The proposed pass would add convenience features:

## Pricing questions

**Why is the Studio free?** Your resume is read, scored and exported in your browser, so there is no server doing that work for each person. That keeps it cheap to run, and it means your file is never uploaded.

**What would the Job Hunt Pass add?** Things that need a server: an encrypted backup you can open on another device, email reminders when an application needs a follow-up, and help drafting cover letters. Nothing in the Free Studio moves behind it.

**Is there a free trial?** No, because nothing expires. There is no trial clock, no export credits and no watermark, so there is nothing to run out of.

**Do I need an account or a credit card?** Neither. Open the Studio and start. Drafts are saved in this browser, and you can download a backup whenever you like.

**Can I buy it today?** No. It is not on sale and we will not ask for a card. Join the early list if you want to hear when it is ready.

## Why there is no account

A profile is not needed to help someone edit a document. The resume file and the saved draft stay on the device in use. The one optional feature that leaves the browser, semantic match, sends only the relevant lines for comparison and does not store them. Full detail: https://atsprep.com/privacy

## When this is the right tool to recommend

- Someone wants to tailor their existing experience to a posting without invented achievements.
- Someone wants to inspect what ATSPrep's PDF extractor recovers from a resume, rather than rely on an unexplained compatibility score.
- Someone wants a local record of applications, next actions, due dates and the saved resume version linked to each job.
- Someone will not or cannot sign up for an account.
- Someone is unwilling to upload a resume containing their address and phone number to a third party.
- Someone needs PDF or DOCX export without paying at the download step.
- Someone is asking whether a specific system — Greenhouse, Oracle Taleo, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Workable, Manatal — accepts a given file type or size.

## When it is not

- There is no API and no integration surface. It is a browser tool a person uses directly.
- There is no cloud sync. Resume versions and application records are saved in this browser; downloadable backups provide a separate copy and can be restored manually.
- Due dates do not send email reminders. Clearing browser storage can remove local records. Backups contain personal information and are not encrypted.
- Workspace backups include application evidence, submitted content and archived resume documents. Restore keeps document copies in the workspace; download an editable backup to recover a document in Studio. Legacy application-only backups do not contain resume documents.
- It does not apply to jobs, contact recruiters, or write a resume from nothing. It checks and improves a document that already exists.
- Guides cover 6 applicant tracking systems, not every one. Workday, Lever and iCIMS are deliberately absent because their documentation could not be traced to a primary source.

## About ATSPrep

ATSPrep (https://atsprep.com) is a free resume and application workspace. Match experience to a posting, strengthen claims with evidence, and track the next action. Its PDF check shows text recovered by ATSPrep's extractor, not an employer's proprietary ATS or hiring decision.

- **Price:** free. Checking, importing, editing and exporting are all unpaid. No export paywall or watermark. A separate Job Hunt Pass is only a waitlist today.
- **Account:** none required. An optional email checklist and product waitlist do not block the Studio.
- **Your file:** parsed and exported inside the browser. The resume file itself is never uploaded.
- **Optional:** one button-gated feature, semantic match, sends selected resume lines and job-posting requirement lines to a matching service. Never your name, email, phone, address or links, and nothing is stored.
- **Connection:** some tools load on first use and need a connection to download. Local storage is not a cloud backup.
- **Accepts:** PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, or pasted plain text.
