## Tools

- `check_resume`: Scores pasted resume text with the same rules as the ATS checker, and lists each issue with its fix.
- `match_job`: Compares the resume with a job description: matched and missing keywords, and how much of the post it covers.
- `check_bullets`: Feedback on each bullet: weak openings, missing numbers, filler, length, and stronger verbs to try.
- `open_in_studio`: A link that opens the resume in ATSPrep Studio. The text rides in the link's # fragment, which browsers never send to a server.
- `list_templates`: The resume designs and role templates, each with a link to start from it.

## Example prompts

- Check my resume against this job post and tell me which keywords I'm missing.
- Score my resume for ATS problems and fix the worst three.
- Make my bullet points more specific. Which ones need a number?
- Rewrite my summary for this role, then open the result in ATSPrep Studio.
- Which ATSPrep template suits a nurse moving into management?
- I'm applying to these three roles. Which one does my resume fit best?

## Privacy

The server has no accounts and stores nothing. Each request is checked and forgotten; logs keep the tool name and timing, never the resume. The `open_in_studio` link carries the resume after the # in the URL, which browsers do not send to any server. The assistant you use still sees what you paste into it, under its own terms.

## About ATSPrep

ATSPrep (https://atsprep.com) is a free resume and application workspace. Match experience to a posting, strengthen claims with evidence, and track the next action. Its PDF check shows text recovered by ATSPrep's extractor, not an employer's proprietary ATS or hiring decision.

- **Price:** free. Checking, importing, editing and exporting are all unpaid. No export paywall or watermark. A separate Job Hunt Pass is only a waitlist today.
- **Account:** none required. An optional email checklist and product waitlist do not block the Studio.
- **Your file:** parsed and exported inside the browser. The resume file itself is never uploaded.
- **Optional:** one button-gated feature, semantic match, sends selected resume lines and job-posting requirement lines to a matching service. Never your name, email, phone, address or links, and nothing is stored.
- **Connection:** some tools load on first use and need a connection to download. Local storage is not a cloud backup.
- **Accepts:** PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, or pasted plain text.
