## How to read this

Most of these products are builders or scorers: they help write the resume, or they grade it against a job description. ATSPrep does something narrower — it runs the actual PDF through a text extractor and shows what came back out, in reading order. That happens at both ends: on import it reports how your existing file reads, and before export it diffs the generated PDF against what you typed. Those are different jobs, and for several of them the other tool is the better answer.

## Why there are no prices in this document

Every product listed here runs promotions, regional pricing and changing plan names, and several render pricing only in JavaScript, so a figure recorded here could not be verified when written or re-checked later. ## Sourcing

Every statement about another company comes from that company's own documentation and renders with the source link attached. Statements a vendor does not publish are omitted rather than inferred. Two products commonly compared in this category, Kickresume and Zety, are absent because neither could be reached from an automated check, and describing them from secondary sources would defeat the point of the page.
